How StaffTimerApp tracks time?

Staff Timer captures Screenshots of the employee’s screens and then processes them to calculate the amount of time spent on productive activities. The Screenshots are captured at a regular interval of one minute and can be classified for a better understanding of how time is spent.

What happens when I lose internet connectivity?

No one wants to lose billable work hours simply because internet gets disconnected. But with Staff Timer, no moment is lost. If your system loses internet connection, the desktop application will keep saving the Screenshots in its directory until the internet is restored. After establishment of the connection, the screenshots will be uploaded on the web for further processing.

What payment methods are not accepted?

We do not accept Bank transfer, Wire transfer, E-cheques and cheques from international users.

How is it different from other time tracking applications?

There are many Time Tracking Applications out there but none is quite like Staff Timer. We stand out because of the way we implement Time Tracking. We capture screenshots of the employee’s screen and then use algorithms to calculate the time that is spent on work related activities and otherwise. The use of Screenshots saves us from intercepting employee’s browsing history and keystrokes logging. Hence, high levels of privacy is ensured.

How does StaffTimerApp use Artificial Intelligence?

Staff Timer uses Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to give you flawless Time Tracking statistics. You can train the application by selecting three images of one kind. Once trained, the system will automatically classify the images of the same category and deliver classified result. You can train the system for as many kinds of images as you deem necessary; you will get categorised snapshots.

Staff Timer is compatible with Linux, Mac and Windows(7 and above).

How much time does it take to use Staff Timer?

For installation and set up, you will require 15 minutes. After that you just need 2-5 minutes to use the application.

Is it completely desktop based?

No. It is a combination of web and desktop applications. Both communicate with each other to implement Time Tracking and deliver insightful results.

Is there a limit on the number of members that I can track?

No. You can track as many members as you want.

Is there a limit on the number of projects that I can manage?

No. You can manage as many projects as you like with a single subscription

If a single employee is working in two projects, do I have to pay twice?

No. An employee can join any number of projects with a single subscription.

Does StaffTimerApp record keystrokes and mouse activity?

No. We are committed to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of our users. We do not record keystrokes or mouse activity.

Where will the screenshots be stored?

Once the screenshots are uploaded from the desktop application, we will store them on our servers. You don’t have to worry about storage issues.

Does StaffTimerApp track my internet browsing activity?

No. We are not into URL tracking either. Your browsing history is safe.

Is the data stored in a secure environment?

Our web application is secured by SSL encryption hence all the exchange of data is absolutely secure. Moreover, the screenshots are also saved on SSL encrypted server.

Is my credit card information secure?

Our web application is secured by SSL encryption so all the information is secure. Moreover, our payment system is through Stripe which is a well-established and secure service.

How much does StaffTimerApp cost?

Is the payment system automated?

Yes. The payment system is automated. You only need to provide us the payment details once. The subscription payment will automatically be deducted at the start of every month.

What happens if I remove an member from my team?

If you remove an employee during the course of a month, you will get the remaining money back.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, if you’re not satisfied with our services, you can opt out any time.

Is my payment information secure?

Our payment system is through Stripe which is a well-established and secure service.

How can I delete my credit card information?

You can update or delete your credit card information from your Dashboard.

Yes. We offer our clients a trial period of 15 days. This is absolutely free of cost and all the features of Staff Timer could be accessed.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Our payment method is automatic. Once you’ve submitted the billing information, the payment will be deducted at the start of every month. However, if the payment gets declined, you will be notified through email.

Do I have to pay twice for an employee who works on two of my projects?

No. You have to pay once every month for tracking an employee no matter how many projects he works on.

How can I view my invoices?
